Stargate Without Jack?

Hi,

I just wanted to weigh in on what I read on your website. I am willing to put up with "Jack lite" eps but I really will miss Rick if and when he is not on on the show. I do like Sam, Jonus and Teal'c but it's not quite the same without Jack to make some remark or at least make some face. I guess the series could go on to an 8 th season without Rick, though I would prefer they go to movies. Would like to see Jack and the others on the big screen.

Oh, no you don't. Jack is the heart and soul of stargate. sure , Daniel, Carter, and Teal'c are just as important, but Jack is what keeps them together. Isn't he the one who so frequently says" We're a team. No one gets left behind." So if he leaves....*armageddon*.. And who else can portray Col. O'Niell than Richard Dean Anderson? How can SG-1 afford to lose the one (and probably only) man who brought their leader so vividly to life? Though if he needs a rest, who am I to stand in the way. But as long as he doesn't leave entirely, I think Stargate SG-1 could get up to 10 maybe 11 seasons. A show this good dies hard.
